One awesome plus to visiting this fall is that you will most likely pass Turkey Foot Falls on your way down, unless you take the direct path. These two waterfalls are close enough together that you can hear them both at the same time when you are between them.

The first falls you see from the free parking is Mize Mills Falls. In October the water was a little chilly. I have never been able to resist swimming/floating. The pool under the falls was under 3 feet deep this trip. The small off-white fish with black spots on each side were hungry, least I think that is how to interpret the nibbles.
