I've heard it's nearing completion but we all know the development pace. If we divide game into roughly 6 parts (intro, 4 artifact quests, and conclusion), then the game has intro + 3.5/4 artifact quests done, making it 4.5/6, or 75% complete. It will be finished, the story mode is nearing conclusion (probably after 2 more big updates).

"The Secrets of Grindea beta is highly representative of how we envision the final product, but it lacks much content. In other words, what's there is very playable, but a lot of things isn't there. Basically, you can't play the whole game yet, almost similar to an episodic title that hasn't released all episodes.

According to Steamspy, Secrets of Grindea has sold between 100,000-200,000 copies. At $14.99 a copy that's roughly $2.5 million dollars (if 150,000 copies were sold) before any Steam fee's. That's quite a chunk of change for 3 people. BUT, there's also taxes involved which would probably reduce that revenue to at least half.
